A license suspension can hamper a person’s mobility as well as put a strain on finances if you cannot drive to work. Much of my practice is related to helping clients get to the root of the problem, discover the cause of the suspension and clear up outstanding tickets so that driving privileges may be restored.

Moving violations may seem more of a bother than anything else may, but too many can lead to heavy fines, insurance hikes and even license suspension. I work with my clients to help them understand the New Jersey point system and avoid the accumulation of too many points on their licenses. Whenever possible, I refer clients to point reduction classes so that they can start to reduce the number of points on their license. In addition to point reduction classes, you can also reduce the number of points on your license by getting safe driving credits. In order to qualify for safe driving credits, you have to keep your license free of additional moving violations or suspensions for a full year. If you do get an additional moving violation or your license is suspended for any reason, you will restart that 1-year clock necessary to qualify for the safe driving credits and will continue to accrue points.
